Notice of Funding Opportunity: New Cooperative Institute Fostering Aquaculture Research and Marketing (CIFARM)

NOAA is establishing a cutting-edge Cooperative Institute to advance U.S. aquaculture development. Applications are welcomed from eligible universities, colleges, and research institutions to establish the Cooperative Institute Fostering Aquaculture Research and Marketing (CIFARM) to unleash the potential of American aquaculture and ocean progress. 

CIFARM will have a broad geographic scope and emphasize advancing aquaculture through the bold growth of research in engineering, technology, modeling, risk assessment, socioeconomics, market research, and other innovations. 

NOAA Aquaculture Program's mission is to provide science, services, and policies that create conditions for opportunity and growth of sustainable U.S. aquaculture. The purpose of this long-term collaborative partnership is to promote research, education, training, and outreach aligned with this mission.
